Everyday Nutrition
Changing the way we eat can be very daunting and almost seem impossible. The best way to look at changing your diet, in my opinion, is to start out by making little changes.
These really don’t need to be anything crazy like doing a 10-day juice cleanse or eliminating all the fun foods (I have the biggest sweet tooth known to man haha).
Lets look at reducing inflammation first. Eliminating all of your processed sugars and refined oils is a great place to start. These are well-known causes of inflammation within our bodies. Replace these with sweeteners like pure maple syrup and raw/unfiltered honey.
Eat slower, eat with your left hand (or your non-dominant hand), put down the fork between bites, chew your food and taste the flavor, enjoy your meals. All these will make you take your time eating your food, thus letting you get fuller without overeating.
Start small, be intentional. You’ve got this!
